Reggaeton Profiles: Trebol Clan
A trio, Javier, Hector and DJ Joe- they came to light during their collaboration
with Don Omar “ Tu Cuerpo Mi me Arrebata” a track so hot that
it brought them the attention of producers D.J. Joe and DJ Fat- the final
product perfectly blends with the Reggaeton style made notorious a year
earlier by Don Omar.Los Bacatranes (2004) had one of the best songs of
the year “Agarrala” which has been spinning around all over
Miami with a beat similar to Daddy Yankee’s “Gazolina”
but a flavor all it’s own. The cut Mi Gorda Bella was chosen as
the official theme song to the Univision novela. This is a great honor
for a couple of young guys starting out with their first album. The fast
rise of the duo has made them the target of some unfair criticisms , but
don’t let that deter you, this guys have some the hottest cuts to
have come out in the last year, sure they are young but if this a sign
of things come the Trebol should be one the groups to watch out. They
paid their dues collaborating with “Rican Muffin” and are
only were they are now because their superior Flow.
