Vico C received a Grammy nomination in the category of Best Latin Rock/Alternative
Album for his latest album “Desahogo” (EMI Latin), as it
was announced today in New York. “El Filsofo del Rap” (The
Philosopher of Rap) has previously won two Latin Grammy’s in 2002
as Best Rap Album for “Live” and in 2004 as Best Urban Music
Album for “En Honor a la Verdad”. Now, this new nomination
is another important step in Vico C’s career, reaffirming his
creative talents and his position as the "Godfather" of Latin
hip hop. The 48th Annual Grammy Award Ceremony will take place next
February 8th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and will be televised
live by CBS.
