The story of Wisin & Yandel is one of struggle
and perseverance. They came from nothing to become the top duo in the
world of reggaeton. A made for TV feature “La Pelicula”
tells the story of how two poor barrio kids worked their way up the
ladder, and overcame the odds stacked up against them.
With surprisingly good acting skills, Wisin &
Yandel know how to play their roles. The movie’s main theme is
that of determination in the face of adversity. Basically, a rag to
riches story- “La Pelicula” plays like a long format music
video that should satisfy those fans that can not get
enough of this dynamic duo.
The best part, of course, is reserved for the soundtrack.
A greatest hits compilation, it contains all the hits including the
their heart stopping ode to reggaeton- “Dembow”. Its hard
to go wrong with hip moving tracks like “Guayale El Mahon”
and “La Sata”. Definitely the best duo of the moment, Wisin
& Yandel “La Pelicula” will satisfy the fans as they
await the release of their of their follow up album.
