Johnny Prez : The Prezident
With each passing moment Reggaeton grows stronger.
Each new release brings the game to the next level. Johnny Prez, debut
“The President” is that rare album that gets the job done
right. With irresistible multi beats that scream for the dance floor,
there is very little not to like about this CD.
Tracks like the salsa favored “Tengo Control”
will have everyone in the house shaking and bouncing. “Rumba Pesa”
with Tego Calderon is a pure Latin flavored rumba reggaeton powerhouse.
Those looking for hot collaborations will be more than satisfied with
Don Chezina’s “Los Imperdonables”. A quality track
that captures the elusive mixtape vibe.
A family affair, this is a record that brings together
everybody from Voltio to Tego, and from Don Chezima to Lennox. Not to
be outdone by his peers, Johnny Prez proves that he can stand up to
the best of them. His style, a soulful melodic mix between rap and traditional
singing proves to be easy on the ears.
A solid debut, “The Prezident” is were
Reggaeton is in 2005. Catch it while is new and hot.
